Hi, I am Bendix Amonat (*13 June 1980), songwriter, producer, singer and vocal coach from Hanover, Germany.

In 2011 I completed my music degree in Jazz/Rock/Pop vocals at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. Since then I have worked as an independent musician across a wide range of fields. My clients include the Ehrlich Brothers, BMG, Warner Chappell, Universal Music, Concordia Versicherung, Hannover 96, Arturia, Heavyocity and many others.

I also write and produce songs for private clients, from the first idea to the finished recording. Most of my work happens in my studio as a singer, songwriter and producer, but I also perform live regularly. For several years I have also been touring with the Police Orchestra of Lower Saxony and the Police Big Band.
Alongside studio work and live gigs, I work as a vocal coach in my studio and, for example, at Schauspielhaus Hannover.

Clients

Over the course of my musical career I have had the opportunity to work with major names in music, including Jamie Cullum, Lillo Scrimali, Marquess, Patrick Nuo, Mousse T and many more. In 2004 I reached number 3 in the German singles chart together with the Global Deejays and the remake of “The Sound of San Francisco”. Over the years many clients from different fields have followed, including Apple, Sennheiser, Rossmann, Autostadt Wolfsburg, the City of Hanover, VGH Versicherung, Hannover 96 and Concordia Versicherung.

I have also written and produced music for feature films, including “Die drei !!!” (2019) and “Broke, Alone – A Kinky Love Story” (2024). My music is increasingly used in series and films by major streaming services such as Netflix, RTL+, Apple TV and others, as well as in many media libraries.

Since 2019 I have worked as a producer for the Ehrlich Brothers. Together with Chris and Andreas I have produced several tracks and continue to work on production elements for their live and TV shows.

Today I work closely with the music industry, writing and producing for BMG, Warner Chappell, Universal Music and Intervox Music across genres, from 1950s Schlager to modern neo-pop.

Studio

My studio has been located at the Eisfabrik site in Hanover’s Suedstadt district since 2006. On around 61 square metres I have a control room, a vocal booth, a kitchen and a bathroom. In addition to a wide range of software, I use high-quality hardware to meet the professional standards of the music industry. What matters most, however, is experience in using these tools. Even after more than 20 years in the profession, I keep learning, and that is exactly what makes this work so exciting for me.

Vocal Coaching

I have been teaching vocals in jazz, rock and pop music since 2004. Until recently, lessons at my academy were also available with other coaches, but due to changes in the studio space this is no longer the case. Lessons with me are still available for beginners, advanced singers and professionals aged 16 and above.

The focus is always on finding the best possible interpretation of a song. Breathing, technique and, above all, a musical understanding of dynamics and dramaturgy are extremely helpful. I meet you where you are and help you improve both vocally and musically.

Ben’s Toolbox

I have been working with Logic Pro in my studio since 2004 and I am still enthusiastic about its possibilities. Even so, many everyday processes in Logic have to be done manually. That takes time, especially when the same workflows happen several times a day.

During the pandemic I started to dive deeper into scripting and programming. Since the end of 2025, an app I developed has been in testing: “Ben’s Toolbox”. It is a system tray app for Logic users that automates various workflows and makes daily work more efficient. In combination with a Stream Deck, the app saves me a lot of time.
